Checking out NFL scores is a weekly thing for football betting players, but the work actually begins early in the week when they start doing their research to try and find an extra betting edge before they head to their sportsbook. Here are a couple of tips for five games to bet on this weekend.
Buccaneers Falcons Betting – Sunday, 1:00 PM ET
The Buccaneers are 8.5-point underdogs on the road according to Bet Online NFL odds, but they’ve actually fared pretty well in betting terms in the Georgia Dome lately, going 4-1 ATS in their last five trips to Atlanta. The Bucs are also an excellent 3-0 ATS in their three road games this year.
Saints Panthers Betting – Sunday, 1:00 PM ET
The Saints come into this game as 6.5-point favorites at Carolina, but they’ve struggled to make NFL betting players happy when on the road against the Panthers, going 0-5 ATS in their last five trips there. The Saints are only 1-2 ATS away from home, but they’re playing a Carolina team that is pretty awful and among the five worst teams in the league.
Dolphins Ravens Betting – Sunday, 1:00 PM ET
The Dolphins are 5-point favorites on the road against Baltimore, who are Miami’s third straight AFC North opponent. This will be a tough game for Miami to win, but they can take pride in the fact that they are very good in Baltimore, going 4-1 SU and 5-0 ATS in their last five trips there. Baltimore is only 1-2 ATS at home this year, while the Dolphins are true road warriors, going 4-0 ATS away from home.
Chiefs Raiders Betting – Sunday, 4:15 PM ET
This AFC West rivalry could end up being the best game of the week as both are playing well right now. The Raiders are 2.5-point favorites in your pay per head sportsbook, but they’re struggled against the Chiefs at home as of late, going 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS. The Chiefs have also been solid on the road for being such a young team, going 2-1 ATS away from home so far this year. Keep a very close eye on this NFL betting matchup.
Cowboys Packers Betting – Sunday, 8:20 PM ET
This game would get a lot more attention if the Cowboys weren’t dreadful, but it’ll get a lot of action. The Packers are 9-point favorites at Lambeau Field, where they are 3-2 both SU and ATS in their last five games against the Cowboys. Being the underdog may take some of the pressure off the Cowboys as they’re 0-5 ATS at home, but 1-1 ATS on the road. The Packers are 2-2 ATS at home this season, and they still have to beware of a sports betting upset by the Cowboys.
